Sydney's female Lutheran pastor in the Swedish Lutheran Church. Katja Lin says it's becoming more and more accepted being a female reverend, but there is still a lot of work to be done. She now works as a minister in the Swedish Lutheran Church and the Swedish Café Svensson in Sydney. ..."Today in Stockholm there is 50/50 male and female reverends. I think that now there are even more female reverends than male in Stockholm."

The Rev Patricia Medley, pastor of St Luke Lutheran Church, Willingboro, NJ told of one New Jersey church that has had female pastors since 1976. One day, a male pastor visited and met some children. One child piped up, "Do you mean that boys can grow up to be pastors?"
